BabiFish is a new mobile app. Scan a page from your picture book and listen as it comes to life, narrated by a fish in headphones.
How it works
Scan, listen, follow along
01
Scan a page
Point the camera at any page of a physical children’s book to begin.
02
Hear the story
The book is read back to your child, with spoken narration and ambient story sound.
03
Follow along
Turn the pages together at your own pace, listening along as the story unfolds.
The soundscape
Stories with a layered world of sound
Every page is paired with calm ambient backgrounds and gentle story effects, designed for bedtime or afternoon reading.
Spoken narration
A clear, warm voice reads each page aloud, so children can listen without needing to read yet.
Ambient backgrounds
Soft background sounds set the scene, from a quiet night to a bright afternoon.
Story sound effects
Small, layered acoustic cues add moments of delight that match what is happening on the page.
